What jewelry for wedding guests? | our advice
How to choose your accessories for a celebration?
The wedding season is open! You might even be invited to one ceremony (or several), and your outfit is already selected. But have you thought about your jewelry? Accessorizing your clothes is essential for a sharp and assertive outfit. Thanks to this, you will be almost as dazzling as the bride! The Camille Colette Studio team helps you choose the jewelry you will wear at your next celebrations.
Harmonizing your jewelry and your outfit
When invited to a wedding, you usually choose your outfit first. It will also be easier to match your accessories to your clothes than the other way around.
The first piece of advice we can give you is to harmonize the colors of your outfit. Choose your jewelry in the same tones as your clothes, or opt for shades that blend beautifully. Gold or silver pieces remain a safe bet; they will go with any outfit.
If your outfit includes strong pieces because of their color or style, prefer discreet accessories. On the other hand, if your clothes are simple, you can have fun with accessories: fancy, voluminous jewelry, layering, etc. In fashion, the most important thing is the balance of your look.
A plunging neckline can be enhanced with a necklace or, why not, a layering of long necklaces that will give a sharper edge to your look. If your arms are bare, you can adorn them with different bracelets. You can also draw attention to your hands with a carefully crafted ring stacking.
Finally, if you wear a short dress or ⅞ pants, highlight your ankles even more with an anklet. This will also add a touch of originality.
Taking your hairstyle into account
A wedding is also often an opportunity for a complete makeover. So you may have chosen a more elaborate hairstyle.
If your hair is short, tied up, or swept back, your earrings will be more visible and highlighted. You can then make them the strong accessories of your look by opting for colorful, voluminous, or dangling jewelry.
If your hair is long and loose, you have two options. Either you opt for voluminous earrings that won't be hidden by your hair; or you focus on the rest of your accessories.
A formal hairstyle can also be easily enhanced with hair accessories. This will make it even more beautiful.

Respecting the wedding theme
Couples are increasingly choosing to organize their ceremony around a theme. This theme serves as a common thread for the decoration, the couple's outfits, and also the guests' looks. If you want to play along (we recommend it!), select your clothes and accessories according to this theme.
For a bohemian, rustic, or hippie wedding, layered jewelry will be ideal: rings, necklaces, or bracelets, choose the piece you want to multiply. However, avoid accumulating all your accessories at the risk of overdoing it. Once again, balance is the keyword! Moreover, hair accessories are particularly appropriate for these themes.
If you are attending a celebration organized around color, you don't even need an explanation! You can (and even should!) go wild with fashion jewelry. We refer you to our very first advice on color harmony.
Finally, for a chic and glamorous wedding, prefer more discreet and finer jewelry. Gold or silver pieces, set with precious or semi-precious stones, will be perfect.
